This is an outdoor table I made out of sipo using dominos for all the joinery.
 
Nice! I like how you have wider slats every once in a while to break things up.

How long did it take you?
 
Thanks for all the kind words. The glue up was a little stressful for sure. It took me about 80 hours from start to delivery. The frame of the top is a full 2 inches thick, and the slats are 3/4. I also built 4 benches, 4 arm chairs and 2 side chairs to go with it. The chairs took another 80 hours to make
 
Wow, that's...... impressive.

Questions:

- Where did you get the sipo at? Is it difficult to find?

- How did you finish it for weather?
 
When i built it I was in California and my supplier kept in in stock. I finished it with watco oil.  I also had a waterproof breathable cover made for it
 
It was smart to use trestles instead of legs at the corners, since you also have benches. That way, it's easy for a person to slide onto the bench because your feet have the room that a corner leg would take up.

Besides which, the trestles are very sturdy and handsome.
