My first attempt at a torsion box. Its 3'x6'. 90 mm webs of 3/4 cdx about 9" grid.1/2" cabinet ply skins. I'm mostly planning on this being a cut table bit I have plans to grid the skins with 20 mm grid pattern 96mm grid of holes. Hopefully that will lighten the weight as I think I went over board with such a small grid. It is super rigid. I need to weight test it I suppose, but it's only sitting on horses until I build the under cabinet. Anybody have thoughts on this thing??
