I just saw this post from Scott Burt of Top Coat Finishes (a painting contractor) about an article he wrote in Painting Contractor Magazine about Festool vacs and sanders: http://forums.jlconline.com/forums/showthread.php?p=650740#post650740. While we tend to focus on quality, he (like most contractors) is focused on speed, efficiency, and ROI.   And that is the topic of the article - how Festool improves productivity.  Interesting article.

Thanks Dan for highlighting this interesting review.  My introduction to Festool started with the sanders (RO 150 and RO 90) and a CT26.  The difference with the 'system approach' changed sanding timber projects from a dreaded task to almost an enjoyable one!

Interesting article. I'm not a contractor but I have been deciding on sanders for the last month or so and have been on topcoatreview where he has quite a lot of info on them.

Nice to see how the integrated system that Festool has works in the real world though...
