Parade of Homes,

Missed seeing your posts but knew you must be working really hard.

Great work as usual and even faster than usual.

Tom, really great work as usual!

Thank you.

I did have help. Those who have/had employees will understand this, 0 help, 3 help, 1 help, 2 help. The first two I hired were not around long enough to see the projects completed.

Ed Michnick (a member here) was instrumental in getting me here to do the homes and helping getting them completed on time.

Thank you.

Long days, probably averaged 16 hours a day for those weeks.

If you take a good look, all of the casework is seamless. The large island is on piece, the small island is one piece, the lowers on the oven wall is a 13’7” long cabinet. The tall bar cabinets are 96” tall x 42” wide x 27” deep. Every cabinet was built to fit the space.

Thank god for large front doors.

Jaw dropping beautiful.  Did you apply the cabinet finishes also?

Thank you.

Yes, if you go to the Finishing and Painting section of the forum and search my screen name you’ll see I know a wee bit about finishing.....

Amazing work - really beautiful interiors!

So 8 weeks - was that the interior trim / finishing or more?  I'm amazed as it's hard to order cabinets and even receive them in 8 weeks!

Thanks for sharing.  Are you enjoying Colorado and being closer to your children / grandkids as I recall?

8 weeks was all the casework completed in both the parade homes. Fabricated, finished and installed. Normally I would figure 6-8 weeks per home.

Trim work was by their trim contractor.

Our oldest daughter, her husband and “my girls” live about 40 minutes north. I left behind a wife, 2 children and 2 grandchildren.

Shameless photo of “my girls” below. Got to babysit them yesterday and spend some of today with them.

Downside is that hail storm that got the zoo and made national news got my truck.

Tom - just stellar work - wow! So very cool. Cannot wait to see the other house. I used to live in Colorado and would do the Parade of Homes every year. There are some spectacular properties in the show.

If you ever need any help on out of town projects give me a call. I also do cabinets, trim carpentry, and finishing. Great work by the way.

Gotta love the kids... they’d be cute without icecream.

They are...

They are what you get when your 40 year old over achieving daughter finally decides they are going to have a child. Can’t do just one....

Very nice craftsmanship.

And burglary is made easy (in case someone falls in love with some of the stuff) by the address being listed in the video...

Tom,
As usual, your work is superb!  I love the fact that, even though you have incredible bragging right for the top-notch work you produce, you are always eager to help others out on FOG when they have questions.

Thanks for sharing!  Mike A.

Impressive!

[member=4105]tjbnwi[/member] When I finally get around to building my custom home I want to hire you. I can also let you use all my unsued Festools for the job.

Great work Tom. Are you caught up now?

I havnt bothered ya cuz I know yer busier then a one legged waitress named Ilene.

Get some sleep an we'll talk.

I was back at the scene of the crime today (what I call the second home, I was there when the hail storm that killed the animals at the zoo occurred, the hail destroyed my truck).

I took some photos of the casework. I'll post a link when the professional photos are on the builders website.
