I just got in the mail what I though was going to be the adapter for connecting my 36mm hose to the 27mm dust port on tools like the 1010 or the sanders, but the package reads D50 to D36, part number 452897.  Does anyone know the part number of the adapter I'm looking for?

If the Fein doesn't work out, just keep in mind that there are very few "emergencies" in our industry that can't be addressed with a beer and a roll of Duck tape.

If you have a spare 27mm hose, you can remove the 50mm CT end and just leave the threaded fitting on that end. It is a nice snug fit inside the 36mm hose end.

I had an old, slightly damaged 27mm hose and I cut about 600mm off it then re-fitted the threaded insert on the end. It works a treat with my OF1010, DF500, Rotex etc.

Tim.

I can recommend this as well...it's PERFECT (though the price seems to be going up)

promark747 you are correct - I paid $19.45 back in August 2013 from the same vendor. Demand must be increasing for this item!

Another option is to buy the 5m Bosch 36mm hose VAC006.  It has the D36 to D27 hose end on it.  Right now newegg seems to have the best price.

This is a Makita 27 to 36 mm adaptor that I use, it's part # is P-70378, it's anti-static and I got it on Amazon. I did modify it by drill 4 1/4 " holes around the collar to use with my ETS 125 and RTS 400 where the suction can be a problem. I have also made use of it with there 3/4" hose, I will post it late.
