PC690 & Milwaukee 5615/16 Adapter Kit For Festool LR32 Drilling System Available
I should have my new adapter kit for mid-size routers, specifically the Porter-Cable 690 series and the Milwaukee 5615/5616 models available Friday, 4-15-22.
For these mid-size routers you can only mount the router in one direction. the plunge base interferes with the pin release on the LR32 Guide Plate and won't allow the router to be properly centered on the guide Plate.
I've also created a centering guide with a 1/2" shank so you can center on the LR32 guide Plate using the 1/2" collet. That will eliminate swapping collets and save time. The 1/2" centering guide is optional same as the 1/4" centering guide is for the other kits.
I know there are other routers that use the same 3 hole bolt pattern that the PC and Milwaukee do but I have not tested with any of those so I won't claim this adapter will work. But it might IF the plunge base is less than 150mm in diameter and they have the same radius 3 hole bolt pattern.
There are possibly some other clearance issues depending on the design of the plunge base. Like I said I don't have every router ever made so can't test them all. If you have something other than the PC or Milwaukee get in touch and we can figure out if your router will work.
Pricing and other kit components will be the same as the DeWalt and Makita compact router kits.
I'll have more info on my website soon.
