PDC Hammer selector issue

Hi, I am having an issue with a brand new PDC 18v drill. When drilling into hard material (Timber mostly) with the hammer selector on drill mode, sometimes the selector switch seems to "drift" into hammer mode. Anyone else come across this? Fantastic drill although this issue is becoming a tad annoying!

Not had this issue with mine - the hammer selector switch on mine isn't really tight, but it's definitely not loose, either.

I have given the PDC 18/4 a really good set of tests over about 10 days. The machine that I was lent by Festool was a demonstrator that had seen a lot of action - I had to give it a bit of tidy before turning on the camera!

I had no problem with the drill/percussion switch. I have checked it a few minutes ago and it does not appear to be loose. Moving it from one position to another feels positive.

I suspect you should get your dealer of Festool themselves to look at it.

I have had it switch on mine a couple of times but I'm pretty sure I've just moved it accidentally with my hand. I often hold it between my legs while trying to get a piece of timber or door or whatever into position so when I go to try reive it from my ample thighs I'm holding it by different parts.
