There is no chance of this.
Members can only vote once every 24 hours, including the administrator. It would be very difficult for any single person to skew someone's Karma, especially after the system runs for a while. Because of the voting restrictions, Karma should be a reflection of the total view of the community.
Thanks,
Matthew

Forgive me for making an all of a sudden appearance, I am lurker here most of the time but I have been observing the latest controversy and I noticed Daviddubya's karma points are in the negative (+9, -12) which strike me as odd seeing as though Daviddubya's post that I have seen were generally constructive. is there a chance someone is abusing the karma system and if so is there a way to stop it.

By the way does the karma feature log IP addresses?

I am definitely confused.
