With those sound effects I'm guessing you're surfing the net on your original TRS80 [eek]

Lead refills are in stock as well.  Markers likely to come after we gauge interest.

What do you mean by "Markers likely to come after we gauge interest."?
do you have the lead but not pencils? or are markers different than pencils?
Do you have all colors of the lead?
White or yellow would be great for marking Walnut.

Kev,  I had to google TRS80 to see what it was.  That's funny!  Sometimes I feel my laptop is a TRS80.  [big grin]

Tinker, as fdengel said, Pica also makes gel and ink markers. We do also stock the basic lead refill which includes four black leads, two red leads, and two yellow leads as well. I picked mine up yesterday - after seeing builderbob's and dave reinhold's demo here at the store a few months back I had to have one! As previously stated by others here, the retention on these is perfect, not too tight but I'm not concerned about the pencil dropping out of the holder. A well made, comfortable pencil.

Peter,
Thanks.

In case you expect to be running out, could you set aside a pencil and set of replacement leads for me.
I will be over shortly for visit and a few odds and ends.
I definitely will be there for Sal's demo on 17th.
Thanks

Happy to, but as always free shipping and no tax and it can be in your hands in a day if you order online though.....

Ah Peter,  that takes all the fun out of it.  ::)
Besides, THE Boss gets to see the package first.

Tinker, well said!

I do foresee us expanding the line in time.  Hopefully very soon judging by interest.

Ah, I miss my good old trusty Trash-80.  ;)

Are you kids able to chuck some of these up North to the tropics of Canada? Or is there some sort of U/L rating on these pencils?

I'd say the retention is pretty good but I wish it was a bit tighter.  Just last week I lost mine while working in an attic in about 18" of loose fill insulation.  If I'd seen where it dropped out I might have had a chance of finding it.
