Plane Till for my antique planes

I made this with Festool and Sawstop tools. I'm very limited on space in garage/shop. Most all of my wall space is taken up. Found small space that would fit all of the Antique planes I recently restored.

Ii dont have antique planes but I do like to display and use my collection. (they're almost as expensive as Festool tools!)

Don't normally comment, but I'm a big fan of the Clifton planes. With my CSX, the Clifton block plane is my favourite tool.

Define what you consider expensive. It's all relative to the condition of the particular tool of course.

You could try Pat Leach ( leach@supertool.com ) and ask to subscribe to his email list. Comes out once a month and he lists mostly Stanley planes but also has other makes such as Record, Clifton, Miller Falls to name a few and other marking and layout tools from Stanley and others. They are in various condition from in serious need of TLC to pristine condition. There are many 'workers' that are fully functional and complete and the prices are reasonable but not cheap. You'll find the most common to the most obscure models. Prices range from $40 to over $4000. The email is a link to a web page with all the listings for that month and links to photos so you don't get a huge email choking your inbox. There can be over 200 items at times.

I have bought a couple items from him and completely satisfied with the transactions. He's quick to respond to emails. If you get on the email list and see something you want don't put off contacting him as stuff goes fast. More than once I have missed something because I waited an hour before emailing him only to find out it was gone already.

Having said all the above I do not know if he ships overseas so I would ask first if you are outside North America.

3-31-21 Update: I emailed Patrick and he said yes, he ships to most countries. Just thought I would add that in case anyone wondered.

You have a nice collection of planes. Are they Lie Nielson?
Mine are all Stanley 9 ¼, 60 ½, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 51, and an 80 scraper.

Veritas miniature shoulder - surprisingly useful

I wanted to try out different brands, and also many decisions were made based on availability. Woodriver have been a pleasant surprise of excellent quality at a good price.

[member=72891]AstroKeith[/member] you should come over to the Facebook Can I have it Tools Auction It is a group of passionate/insane tool collectors and sellers.  They run buy it now sales all week and Weekend auction Fri->Sunday.  I think its averaging over 500 items a week up for sale at this point.  VERY VERY bad place to feed a classic tool addiction.
