Hello
I am from France and I use google to speak in english so excuse me my english

I have an old sander for ceilings but it is heavy
I count bought the planex for his lightness
but I do not know this machine
is she good?
have any faults?

Welcome to the forum!

The Planex is effective for sanding drywall ceilings.  There is a learning curve to it.  I don't have one because I don't have enough of a need for one but if I did I would certainly buy one.  There are two different models.  The original (and more expensive) model can be extended with additional metal pieces to handle taller ceilings and in it's original length can be used in smaller closets than the newer model that is less expensive.

Hopefully some of our Members who have one will chime in here.

The Planex's suction does help support its weight some, which is nice and helps with fatigue during extended use.

Check with Festool in France, but there should be a period to return the tool if you buy it and do not like it. So, get it and try it yourself with no risk.  [wink]
