Just received this drywall sander. And wondering what pad and grit is best for skim coated drywall. And the same recommendations for popcorn ceiling removal.

I am a woman 5"6 140lbs. Strong for my size. What advise for what not to do. And any helpful to do advise.

If the skim was well applied, 180 or 220. If there are a lot of "bad" spots, you may need 150.

Use a couple of interface pads, extraction will be decrease slightly (I assume you got the CT 36 AC?).

120 on most popcorns, if it had never been painted try water and a scraper.

If you're going tp be doing a lot of skimming get these knives, thin the mud, roll it on, smooth;
