Hi guys!

So we just moved a month ago, and my garage is for now, the depot.
Everything we don’t know if we’ll use, or we didn’t find a place yet in the house is in there.

I started thinking of how I should use the place for my workshop.
It’ll have a portion for gym/exercice (120ft2), and the rest will be workshop. (13'-2'' x 12'-2'' = 150 ft2)

I mainly do project using sheet good for now. I don’t have any jointer and other big équipement.

I have a miter saw, table saw, that I would need to find a place for them. Miter saw I probably uses most when doing renovation cutting trim board etc.

I was thinking of getting a track hinge, and parallel guide for most of my project.

For the 10’ wall cabinet, I was planning on using wittworks cabinet plan.
If you guys have a suggestion for the mft table, for plans, or instruction to follow, I’d be happy to hear them. I’d like to have drawer to put my Systainer under, RO150, TS55, annd shop vac  for ct26,  and I’m sure more to come.

I’d love to have your opinion of the layout I could think of

I’ll be happy to answer any question you guys have.

Sorry don’t know how to insert picture better than this:

Looks pretty good to me. Mine will be similar, except for the angled door area. My door is in the same corner, but not angled.

I'm in a 10ftx10ft space, with a bit of spill-overage into the hallway area.  Be sure to set aside some dedicated space for incoming sheet goods, as well as another 2x3 cart for staging cuts.  Is that storage pic in the area next to the garage?

As for MFT, the rail flip is nice, but I find myself lately using the TSO GRS-16PE and parallels much more on a STM1800* style cutting station.  Because of the tight space, it's easier to break down 8'x4' sheets very roughly into parts, store it on the 2x3 cart, and then re-process with a nicer blade on the cutting station.  The small space also means rotating each sheet so I'm more or less cutting in the same area near me (one side of the table) regardless of it being a rip or crosscut.  The rail is still nice for quick one-off cuts

My door isn’t angled. It’s between the gym and workshop area, a bit hidden by the massive tote rack picture. So sorry. The angled part is where the central vaccum is. Bit of a waste of space.

Thank you.

Maybe something I’d add is a space behind the cabinet, or behind the tote rack, to store a couple of 4x8 sheet and bigger offcuts that I think is worth keeping.
