Although they don't look as amazing as [member=28521]Rob[/member] MN here's a little update on how my shutters are going.

So what are you guys using to attach the control arm to the louvers? Stapler? I saw a video Norm Abram did and used that method. Was wondering if you guys did the same?

So what are you guys using to attach the control arm to the louvers? Stapler? I saw a video Norm Abram did and used that method. Was wondering if you guys did the same?

I drilled holes in the control arm and louver with a jig provided in the Rockler kit. Used needle nose pliers to attach the Rockler hooks to the control arm first. Then one by one take a second hook, connect it to the hook on the control arm and then bury it in the hole in the louver. Very tedious! But once I got a system down on how to do it, it went easier.
