Plug it conversion-kit UBS-PUR 360 & 420 Discontinued (At least in the UK)

FYI.

Just spoken to Festool UK who have informed me the following parts are now discontinued due to health and safety issues.  Once the stock runs out with suppliers, then it's all gone apparently.

• 491144 Festool plug it conversion-kit UBS-PUR 360 plug it 240 V
• 491145 Festool plug it conversion-kit UBS-PUR 420 plug it 240 V

Might be an idea to stock up.

I also asked if the only difference between the cables was the cable length; one being 360mm and the other being 420mm.  Apparently both items use 1.5mm flex, can anybody confirm that is the case?  The answer was a bit vague and in fact the poor chap had difficulty finding the items as they had been removed from the system as they are now discontinued.

Yes, the only difference is the cable length; the 420 version has more cable "unsheathed" than the 360 one.

Oh man, so glad I got a buddy in the UK to pick up 3 of them for me last week. Almost waited until I was in London in September to buy them, looks like I acted just in time.
