These are still available Internationally, you may be able to get some shipped to you in the USA...

I guess it depends which end you are trying to repair / replace... Here is a photo of one of the 'conversion kits'

No Sir,

It's the plug it repair fitting that lets you repair existing cords.  I'm hoping to make one short cord for my CMS table and repair a cord that has Guerrilla guard and shrink tape on it (home made plug it hose).
I know they are not available from my UK contact but have a friend traveling to Germany.

Thanks though!  [smile]

I recently bought a couple of the plug it pig tails and the plugin was different. It had a shape like a butterfly where mine looked like the one you had a photo of. I don't know if it's a euro thing or since I bought the 110v if the 240v were diffent and looked like the one in the photo.

There are to types of plug-it cable ends, The lighter guage cable has an extra nub, so they can't be inserted into machines that require the thicker cable. The thicker cable can be used with all plug-it machines.

[member=10147]jobsworth[/member],  I bought some like that from a US FOG member.  They have a pliable black cord that I like more the the green.
He explained that he found them and didn't notice that they are different but easily modified to work.  Item # may be 494 910.

See the last item for sale in the first post.  [smile]

So,

[dead horse]  Are Plug-it parts available in Germany?

Anyone have any info.  Much appreciated.

Thanks, Sam

Nope, all discontinued. Some dealers still might have some old stock, but only way to find out is to contact dealers individualy.

Still looking for a couple 489685 plug-it repair socket ends.

Thanks, Sam

After my BBQ yesterday I had a look at the plug its, Im pretty sure the Euro 240 pig tail plug it is the same config as the NA 110V. It shouldn't be a problem using it in a 110V as the Euros use a 2 wire 240 system ( hot , neutral and don't count the grid as a wire) as we in NA use.
