Plug-It Swap

Hi -

Is it possible to safely remove a plug-it end and install said plug-it on a different cable?
IF so, does anyone have information as to how to disassemble and re-assemble?

I've never seen or heard of this being done. If it's a longer cord you're after, you can buy a from Festool.

It's my longest cord that I broke the plug-it on...

I have at least 6 unused plug-it cords.

I'm pretty sure that they are removable/replaceable, just like the ends of the extractor hoses.
I've never actually done it though.

I believe they are molded as one unit and cannot be added to a different cord
