So I have a fein super cut in a orange Systainer, and love it.
My problem is the box(Systainer 1) is so tight, the cord has to be wrapped in such a way, that the lid is hard to close.

Well guess what? The cord has developed a short in it.
It is in the variable speed setting of the saw because it is like twisting the knob and the rpm's go up/down as a result.

So my question to all is: has any one put a quik-change cord on one?
That would fix my problem, after fixing the cord of course.

I don't want/need a sys 2 ,but that would help also(don't need 2 orange Systainers).
Also I have no intention of replacing my supercut with a Festool one,had Festool been out when I purchased it ,then I may have gone with a FS.
So what say you peeps? Oh and pictures would help. I don't want my tool to look like some 4th grader had a go at it. LOL.
Thanks in advance,
Charlie

Ok a quick update: I cut the offending wire(s) and re-attached them and all is well, till the next time. But a better solution is kinda needed, but after opening the housing, I don't think a plug-it cord fitting would have enough room.
Thanks,Charlie

I haven't changed my Fein over to Plug-it, just because the air flow through the dust extraction attachment is not adequate to keep the CT cool (it shuts down after some time on the Fein).

But, i've used Festool part #491145 on a non-Festool sander i had laying around though  :-X (and am pleased with the result):

That would work but I think I'm going to toss the insert that came with the sys and try to roll the cord up more loose. Maybe some kiazen foam also.
