i was doing some framed boxing in today 300 off the wall, a metre high and covered with ply (to take tiling)
the floor AND the wall were all over the place, normally this type of work is a pain, almost every piece of the frame has to be cut and fitted individualy (and you still have to tweek it) , i couldnt be arsed
so i made up a "square frame" using dominos (and left them all loose) fixed the floor and wall plate
then leveled and plumbed one end (firing 2 no, 16 guage brads through the framing into each domino) to "fix" the plumb and level
did the same at the other end, then then fired brads into all the remaining dominos
(each "joint" has a varying amount of visible domino, dependeding on the wall or floor plate position)
the ply face to the frame (scribed to the floor first) and the top (scribed to the wall) stiffens the whole unit into an immovable object
job jobbed 8)
