Plus version of the 18V drills?

All of the 18V drills are now available in both a Basic version and a Set version. There is not a Plus version for those tools. The Set version includes batteries, a charger and usually an additional chuck or two.

Out of curiosity, are you wanting a version with batteries/charger without the additional chucks (like with the old Plus versions)? There a specific 18V drill you're looking at?

Yes Tyler,

I'm looking at two new Aistream drill kits and don't need the extra chucks in both tools.

I believe this is the thinking behind Festool offering the three versions and I'm disappointed that they stopped. I understand that more SKU's is harder to stock and is more complicated for outside sales people.

Thanks, Sam

P.S. On the fence this time if I'll get C18's or T's?

You could always by the two full sets and sell off the pieces you have duplicates of and don't want to keep.

Or just buy one full set and one bare tool and add on those particular accessories that you do want and not
have the duplicates to deal with.

Or go in with a friend and buy two full sets and one bare tool and sell or trade him your duplicates.

Yeah, I have tried to find a way to make this workout.  I had two C15's for our shop that I sold to upgrade to 18V tools.
We still have two CXS's and the installers set with some Snappy add-ons.  I don't know if I should go any further into Centrotec?  Or any other Festool for that matter.
