[attachthumb=1][attachthumb=2][attachthumb=3][attachthumb=4][attachthumb=5]I recently came across a Posso T-box 400 tool box at a car boot sale. The seller wanted £3 for it but I left it and came back to check it later and got it for £1.50!!!

Its a brilliant tool box and initially was going to use the internal caddy inside a sys5 box but it is too tall for it. So I am using it as is for my plumbing tools at present.

I'll try putting some pics up but every time I try I fail so it may take a while.

This t-box is just an excellent idea and very practical.  All tools are easily accessible and it doubles as a stool seat although there is a picture on the box prohibiting it being used as a step stool. I have used it as a step stool all week and has been brilliant.  It is very strong much strong than flimsy systainers in comparison.  It would have been perfect if it was about 100mm larger all the way round and would be more stable to stand on. I am on the look out for more of these if I can find them. These I believe were made in the 90s and no longer available.

SCORE!!!!

I assume you added the tools later? It didn't come with them, did it?

I'm asking because it seems like a nice fit on the wrenches - especially if they were something that you just 'happened' to have...

[thumbs up]

No, the tools are mine. I guessed the wrenches went there and I was correct as in the stock photo I found on the net in the last post. I had most of these tools in a CK tool roll. I have  added the files. The ck tool roll will go on ebay and I expect to get more than I paid for it as I got it cheap and its way more now in price.

I got mine at a car boot sale. They were on sale many years ago and as far as I know were discontinued years ago. Second hand  is the only way to find them.

first saw these late 90's the do a smaller version which I picked up from texas diy then later they did a clearance on the bigger ones.

swiss made and all over the place for a while as they made several tool type things.

I first set out my tools into the small one buying to fill it and fitting clips to the outside for a thorex hammer and a set of chisels. used it for fitting with much success for years and bought a spare one which I still have then the big version when I found some, I am struggling to get on with because it is laid out differently and my tools don't fit as well as I'd like. they are a great bit of kit, you can see you have all your kit before you put the lid on and it doubles as a step up - if you keep it together, try to use the lid on its own and it will break

just seen this

shocked. but not as much as when I found this

mine are worth more than their weight in silver.  [eek]

Crazydave789 could you post some pictures of the small posso t box as woul like to see the difference.  Cheers.

I bought another t-box today from the same car boot sale I got my first one from. I got the first one for £1.50 and this one cost me ten times as much for £15.00.

Looking at how much they can be sold for I may eventually sell one hopefully for a massive profit.

sorry just noticed this but the boxes have been packed up for the house move. finally moved so will see what I can do. the smaller version is about half the volume. I wanted an excuse to get some sys 5s.

stopped using it for work when I moved over to toolbags for convenience transporting when I could only use one carryall but I do miss the little drawers and being able to check everything at a glance.

Is the tbox 200 just shorter than the large one or is it smaller acros its width and depth too?
