Hello Foggers,
Our Midget AAA Hockey club has asked me to build, budget permitting, 20 of these lockers for their change room. They want to have Maple, as in the photo, and I was wondering what clear finish can I put on these that would resist abuse and water. They will be sitting on these with wet/snowy pants between periods and at the end of a game, during the speech from the coach. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
JC

Epoxy is the first finish that comes to mind. Waterproof and tough, but I'd only use it on the sitting Pratt, epoxying the whole unit would be tricky.

I have been using Finitec floor finish on cabinet projects.

Levels out beautifully.  Very durable.

Looks like a sprayed finish.

There won’t be that much moisture.

Good luck.

Brian
