I've just been looking as some examples of this finish used on some "pieces with character". It looks amazing - a glass like finish.

Anyone here played with this sort of stuff?

An old roommate of mine used to pour it on his paintings to give them a modern pop art type feel.  I never loved it, as I have always associated it with bar tops and restaurant tables.

I have never been a huge fan of high gloss finishes, but I guess they have their place.  In my opinion, they seem to come out too thick to be on an elegant piece.

Check out "Tap Plastics".

Is this the "type" you are looking for ?

Not sure about what you "chaps" have in the down under....

Does the water really flow in a counter-clockwise direction when you flush ?

Remember I am in the People's-Republic-of-Kalifornia !
