Thank you, sir. I saw that as well. This was the stock photo provided by Festool. Had it on my to-do list to Photoshop or hit them up to see if they had the correct photo.

Zoomed in you can see it actually has 18AWG written on the cord.

Edit: I've edited it to make it look like the 16 gauger.

what is the diameter of the dust collector opening on the ETS ec 150/3/5 unit?
is it 22mm or 27mm? (will one need to buy the new sleeved hose to just use
the new ets ec 150/3/5 sander?)

[member=37016]jcp2wood[/member], it's just the hose that's tapered with 22mm on the tool end. The tool connector is still 27mm. Standard vac connector, too.

So, no requirement to buy the sleeved hose. It's optional.  [wink]

The tapered hose at 22mm gives a lot of flexibility to the sander so is easier to guide as you work. Great extraction as well. Also works with the other sanders in the range
