PRECISIO CS 50 EBG Side extension table

Hi Everyone, first post on this ace forum.
I was wondering if anyone had a cheaper way of adding a side extension table to my saw. The Festool VB 492090 also would like to know if there’s a different saw stop fence to the Stopper  LA-CS 50/CMS.

There’s not too many CS50/CS70 owners in here, as these saws were not sold in the US..

It’s not a straight forward task to make a DIY table and fence, nor to any other table saw.
You could buy the MFT/3 extrusion and thus make use of the same “V” profile, but fit it to a table of your choice. This would work with LA-CS 50-CMS too.
It may? be cheaper to build your own or get a fence secondhand from a random table saw and build something around that. Electra Beckum/Metabo have had simpler but good fences that rely on a square groove ala bigger traditional table saws.

Just fyi: Festool uses the V-groove profile on all of their work tables, also all of them use a baseline of 900mm working height which equals e.g. 7x Classic / T-Loc Sys 1 + 1x Sys 2 (or any other combination with 17 height iterations). What is that good for? You can use

• your systainers in said combination as an in- / outfeed table
• the the Kapex wings (!) as outfeed for thin stock or for crosscutting on the CS 50
• the MFT VB
• the CMS VL
• the CS-50 VB or even
• the MW-1000 mobile worktable extensions

... to increase the width and length of cut on your CS 50. However only the VB 492090 you already found out about can use the optional parallel fence. Speaking of parallel fence: all accessories designated for the CMS are 100% compatible with the CS 50 (doesn't hold true for the CS 70 or TKS 80)

Not sure about the CS 50. But I have a CMS and I ust the fence for the CS 50. So Im guessing if you could find a side table for one it should work.
