HeyMike good to hear from you [big grin]. Yes the stuff came, all my festools made it unscathed. The loose stuff got moved to different boxes by the moving company so I having to go through ad sort through the stuff. They also boxed a whole lot of stuff I should have thrown away. I was there on moving day.
But all in all the shop is coming together. Is it a show piece?
Not since Im renting this house, I did the minimum making it usable and functional.
For example for floor insulation, I took 3 mil sheet foam insulation (4' x 8') laid it on the floor, covered it with 3/8" sterling board that I got from a good friend who had it lieing around his shop. Seems to be working pretty good.Plus when I move I can just pick it up an give it to someone for their shop / garage no problem.
I also threw up some drywall on the ceiling to stop heat loss thru the roof. I didnt bother taping and mudding it b/c well its a rental and Im using it for heat loss.
Ran some new outlets, put in some storage racks using spur shelving . I can remove them when I move home and put them in my shop in the states.
Im building a hanging storage rack for my 1400 guide rails today.Ill send ya some photos when I get her done. But like i said beaware its no show piece.
But Im shopping for a TS 75 and CMS module right now to [big grin]. Going to a tool show on the 11th hoping to score a good deal.
Oh yea taking to the festool guys here, they are going to have end user classes here beginning next year. Thye have to remodel their training area to give them more space to accommodate the students as they only do dealer training now.
Have fun and tell me how ya like the class. Maybe take some photos or videos if ya can.
