I just wanted to let everyone know that the prices are rising on March 1.

That's the Bad News...

The Good News is that it really isn't much, especially when you consider they haven't risen since '09.

I know that it seems that things should go the other way but if you've seen the price hikes on other manufacturers' tools that I've seen, you'd wonder why not earlier.

By not much, I mean, not much. For instance, the previous price for the OF 1400 packaged in a classic Systainer was $470. The new price of the OF 1400 packaged in the T-Loc Systainer is $485.

Incidentally, I should have the new version, in the T-LocSystainer, toward the end of the week or early next week.

Tom-

I heard recently from a little birdy that it wasn't an across-the-board increase- that it was only affecting a few products.  Is that correct, or are we going to see pretty much everything increase?

Not everything. And from the list I have, not a big amount.

Shane,

Are you going to publish table with prices change this year?

Thank you,
VictorL

I have some things that I have to do first today but when I get some time, I'll do a comparison and post it.

I just ran the numbers...

344 items are not changing.

The price rises are as little as 0.22% and as much as 58.33%.

The average price rise is ~4.2%.

It looks like the biggest increases are coming in the 10 packs of abrasives.
