I am trying to decide if I want to sell my CT-22 vac and move up to one of the new and larger units.

I will probably try to sell these locally in Kansas City first since it would be a pain to ship but aren't sure what to ask.

Please let me know if you think these prices are realistic.

CT - 22 used by a home owner hobbiest with a clean bag installed, and one extra bag. I was thinking of asking $400 for this since the current CT-26 replacement is $550.

Hose Garage, sells for $50 new and you can't really wear them out so I'm thinking $30 is fair

Boom Arm sells new for $275 so I was thinking $200

Handle which is required for mounting the boom arm to the unit sells for $77 so, I was asking $50.

Do these prices seem fair for both parties?

If yes, I'll attempt to sell these locally in Kansas City, or could deliver them to the following cities within the next month or so, Des Moines IA, Stillwater OK, Iowa City IA, or Columbia MO. I have relatives in every city and plan to visit them in the next month or two.

Thanks in advance for your input.

Steve if you like the boom arm set up I think it is compatible with the new vacs. Could be one piece you wouldn't have to replace with the new vac. Just order the handle to go with which ever vac you decide to go with and re-install.

You need a handle and a bracket to use the boom arm with the 26, 36, 48.

$400's high for a CT 22 imo.  I've had a pretty clean used Ct22 listed on CL near me for quite some time at $285 with not much interest.

I'd say most you'll get out of it is gonna be $320 tops.

Why bother upgrading for a cost to you of $200 plus?

Worth that much for a centered hose?  Seems the word is around here that the good ct26 bags can replace the crappy ct22 paper bags, and really - how much do we need a bit more suction?  Turn it down half the time for sanding anyways, and the tiny useless hose makes them useless for general shopvac use.

I like new shiny things as much as the next guy, but inlike crinkly old green paper things better.
