Looks to be the same sander with the dust collection bag, probably a normal colored systainer and definitely no $50 voucher.

Same RPM 6,000 - 12,000, same power 250W, same stroke 2 mm, and same weight 1.2 kg. Makes sense to release it. You would not go into trouble of making a new model just for promotional purposes.

All other markets got this sander released last year with the new rectangle and delta versions.  RTS & DTS 400 models.  I believe the first video shown on FOG was a Dutch affair highlighting all three models. 

We were the only market to have it labeled as a "pro5" with all the goodies thrown in.

Buying the same sander now for a few hundred $ could be perceived as being a bit moronic.

Um, yea there is probably a TON of margin in Festool tools. They probably cost 30-40% of what they charge to make. They are probably rolling in profit.

That is good news.  We tried out the brushless $300+ dollar 125 and will be the first Festool product I've ever returned.  Not happy with the price, but besides that the sander just doesnt feel right - the hose torques the tool to tilt.  You feel like you are fighting with the machine - not good for hours of sanding we usually do with these each day
