I have looked at 2 other Kapex saws and they do not have the difference in the angel of the back fence on either side. I removed the the four bolts holding this in place and foud that they were toqured down very hard. When I looked at the flatness of the fench side to side, it was better off the saw. I then sanded it down on a glass plate. ( A bit over the top, but it was off the saw so why not? ). I reattached it to the saw making it tight, but not so tight as to bend it. This fixed the issue. A straight edge placed against the fence now shows that both sides are lined up. So I guess that the bolts holding the fence in place seem to have been torqued down too hard and distotred it a bit. also it was not machined perfectly or was very slightly bent when installed. I have fixed the problem, but now have to reset the gage to 90 deg. But my issue is resolved. Thanks for letting me know that it was out of tollerance.
