Problems with long life MIDI Filter Bag

Hi,

I installed a long life MIDI filter bag and was using the extractor for awhile when I lost suction. I opened it up and the HEPA filter was packed. I came here to ask what could have caused this, and I was using a 36mm hose at the time but I didn't think that could be the issue.

However, I think I solved my own problem. Looking at online photos it appears that I am missing a white o-ring. Does anyone know how to find the part number for that and if it's available separately?

There are 3 parts listed on the ekat-site (I couldn't find it when I was searching via the festoolusa site, so I took a screenshot of the version I got through the Dutch festool site.
If it's available the O-ring should be part of partnumber 478916 "support"

How is this bag compared to normal dust bag? I'm thinking about purchasing for my MIDI and MINI.

It's not designed for fine dust. Also; it's expensive as ***. Just calculate how often you have to shake that thing out... and what value you put on not having to do that unhealthy job.

Just skip the long life bag. Get a separator if you need, but skip the longlife bag. Yuk.

Thanks for your advise I guess I'll skip this for now lol I'll stick with DD to minimize my filter bag storage.

I contacted the dealer I ordered the bag from to see if they could order that ring and they responded by immediately refunding my entire purchase price so I'm good now.
