[Project 14] Cherry Picture Frame

Nice wood choice for the project.

I had the same reaction when I saw it!  It's almost harmonious for lack of a better term.  The color goes so well with it, but the frame doesn't distract from the art.

Very nice, Matty!  It's elegant in it's simplicity.  I've made literally hundreds of picture frames over the years using the same wood choice.  May I make a finish suggestion (if it's not too late!)
Arm-R-Seal by General Finishes in semi-gloss.  Wipes on like an oil finish but after 5 coats with fine hand sanding in between, builds a very nice warm and shiny finish. Makes it easy to dust down the road and maintenance free.

Thank you Jim!

Appreciate the kind words! This one is done and delivered to the co worker but I'll pick some of that up when I'm at woodcraft next!

Excited to try it out.

On this frame I sprayed it with Deft lacquer.

Fence Dogs!

Search for it on this forum, it's from a company in the UK. They are GREAT. 100 times better than the ones that came with the fence IMHO.

Very slick setup, I like that! Are you using the Woodpeckers super track with the Fence Dogs?

Matt,

Recalling when you first got into woodworking and seeing the progress in a short period of time is refreshing. I hope the passion to learn and grow continues for you.

The projects you recently posted look great.
