[Project 3] Wood storage cart design and build

The design I came up with is pretty simple, the back two slots are for sheet goods. The triangles are so it's easier to pull the sheet goods out.

The front has space for boards and there are cleats on the inside to keep them from moving.

Definitely put the domino to good use on this one... second project using it. I think I used too many hah.

Glue up was very stressful!

Nice rack. 

Your horizontal strips across the front angle might need some reinforcement.  If you have large sheet goods you are inserting or removing in the back, I would worry about 'racking' the cross supports in inserting or removing them and having them break out of the wood at the Dominos.  Might want to double those up on the back and add screws in from the sides since you have already glued up.  A 6-8" piece behind the strips on each side screwed in from the front and sides would give you a little more support to prevent this possibility.

Are you putting it on casters?

You seemed to have cut the mortices on the wider setting, which makes them less stable (as you generate holes in the material).
Any particular reason why you did that?

Painted it last night. Casters on this morning.

Got some purple heart, Wenge, Cherry, and 1/2 ply in there now, woo!

Given from the photos that you seem to be perfectly capable of placing the mortices exactly where you marked them I would say that you underestimate the trust you can put into yourself.

I suggest you go for the normal width, any problems will surface in dry fit and you'll have you stronger joints or (possibly, but unlikely as it seems from the pictures) the opportunity to perfect your technique while still being on simple projects made out of cheap material.
