So the idea is 3 pillars with drawers etc. in between the middle pillar and the two outer ones is space for a chair (for my wife and I). I ordered a solid piece of 3/8” glass for the top, 84” x 24”.

each pillar 12” wide x 3 is 36”, with 24” for each chair cavity.

Building everything out of solid maple. May do some accents on drawer fronts. So far... a LOT of milling  haha.

Matt,
between yourself and [member=65062]DynaGlide[/member] you seem to be on a tear to see who can rivet the most FOG eyes on their respective posts.

Way to go!
I look forward to a glimpse of the complete assembly in a SketchUp image if you have one to share.

I think it's safe to say [member=67555]mattbyington[/member] has won that contest. He's a machine.

[member=61691]TSO_Products[/member] and [member=65062]DynaGlide[/member] no way!! You guys are way too kind!!
I’m just poking around and trying to learn.

More pics to come tomorrow ....

I’ll
Get one of the design, too. Used fusion 360 instead of sketch up. Boy what a learning curve!! But it’s a beautiful tool.

Amen! Wish I was younger.

very nice Matt. I still cant get over how clean your shop is.

Plus how with all those tools you can still manage to park cars in there.

[member=10147]jobsworth[/member] thank you sir! If you’re around Bay Area, CA you can swing by and I can show you if you’re curious. I forget where you live.

Anyways - Sides, backs, tops, and bottoms Milled, glued, and cut. Now to sand and start on the joinery. Drawers come later ...

You should run your pictures through an editor before you post them, they're all sideways. Shot with an iPhone?

I know I suck. Yes iPhone. At this point it’s like a running joke on this forum. I post directly from my iPhone. Not sure what I do to mess it up.

2/3 pillars done. Glass has arrived .... time to start on drawers and accessories soon!
