I love how that strip down the middle causes some serious trompe-l’oeil… It’s like looking down on a mountain ridge.

At some point soon the wife is hinting she wants a bed out of solid walnut. WE have a California King bed. I have a feel it'll honestly be close to $5K in lumber for it. Well maybe not that much. but maybe 3K. but that'll be crazy build whenever I get around to it.
