Prolonging life on RO90 delta pads?

I'm using  Mirka 90x90 interface pads, works well with both granat or abranet and easily available at least here in Finland:

I'm glad other people have noticed the wear - I thought it was just me.  I wore a corner out after a few minutes, while my other delta sanders have not had any wear at all.  And the dust collection on mine is non-existent.

RO90 on rotex and RO is great though.
