Are the batteries between the TI 15 and the PSC 420 compatible?

The TI 15 uses the 15v battery and the PSC 420 uses the 18v battery.  Will I harm either device if I use the 18v battery in the drill, or the 15v battery in the jigsaw?

Thanks in Advance.

You can always use the lower voltage batteries in higher voltage machines but not the other way around.

Additionally, the mounting mechanism is designed to prevent improper use.

The Carvex PSC 420 is (one of) the only Festool machine which can handle the 12, 15 and 18 V batteries!
Doesn't matter which model PSC you bought.
Of course it influences the speed of the jig saw, but it works.
Specs from the manual are: Motorvoltage 10,8 - 18 V.

If you are only cutting thinish ply 9mm or so then the 15v batteries in the PSC 420 will cut fine, if you have two batteries you could cut all day long with the 15v's
