Hi,

Does anyone know what the speed set switch on the drill is used for apart from reseting the drill if it locks out during overload condition...

Thanks
Bharat...

I do not own this drill so I can not answer from experience.

I checked the drill's manual and odd thing is, it does not mention what the button is for. It only mentions it turns something on or off, but not WHAT exactly. Pretty silly.

Like Alex I also do not have this drill, but it got me curious so I downloaded the manual aswell.

From the description in the manual I expect it to function as a kind of electronic triggerlock. (but instead of a normal triggerlock, which locks the trigger fully squeezed, it locks the speed like a cruisecontrol.)

Frank is right.

There are two buttons. One turns the LED on, the other makes the drill run with out the trigger. It makes a great drill for a small drill press.
