Well ok today at work I was doing a bit of hammer drilling into light concrete on my Quadrive drill, when I noticed a problem with the chuck fitting. It had sort of "popped out" from the body of the drill itself. Checked it to make sure the centrotec was fully engaged and it was. I took it upon myself to carefully unscrew the 4 screws on the metal body. To my amazement I found a rather crap looking little clip - not even a proper circlip type of thing - had slid off inside causing the chuck part to slide out about 1/4 inch!
Bit annoyed about this, considering I own several Festools with no problems so far. Anyway, gave it a little grease and got my mechanic friend to fit a tighter little circlip and no problems after that. Anyone else have issues with this drill? I have a T15 which has been to hell and back ,and still performs after 4 years of abuse. Had the Quadrive 2 months and malfunction already!
