Eric,

Im  Amateur thats been wood working for 19 years and been using festools for around 5 years.

I now have almost a all festool shop.

Thank jobs worth.

Where I'm going to buy my tools (in France) in fact it is my sharpener, he sells Festool in a proportion of 80-85% in pro and the rest are passionate.
And on the forums here, those who have Festool are more pros, and some still have old machines "Festo".

my sharpener

Extra question :
In USA what are your habits  for Festool purchases ? (What is better to say Habits / Practice / Custom)
Stores near you ?
Internet?
Mix between stores and sites ?

thank

I would say "where do you purchase your tools/festools?"
A lot like amazon.com
I prefer a store with on hand knowledge of the tool. Woodcraft.

I'm amateur for sure.  Been woodworking probably around 20 years, using Festool for maybe seven to ten years. Don't have a lot of Festool stuff but love what I have.  I buy most of my Festool from Bob Marino, he is a great guy to work with and will take care of you. I do sometimes buy small stuff from Amazon.

I used to be a automotive tech, a metal fabricator welding etc.. i got into wooding 2 years ago and ive experienced my fair share of power/hand tools and never experienced a system like festool.  i know im an addict cause im buying the tools or making up reasons why ill need it later so i buy them now lol. plus they look like meth laboratory equiptment which is super sexy.
