Hi everyone,
I am wondering, when using a router with the angle arm and edging plate, what is the maximum distance between the top of the edging plate and the router base? See the picture below.

Thanks

I don't know that there is a theoretical "maximum", but there is a practical one. You don't want it any farther out than necessary. Just more off-set the router, the more leverage it has to tip. Keep it close.

Thanks Crazyraceguy,
I'm just wondering what the measurement is when the arm is fully extended. If you have this setup, would you mind measuring that distance for me?

Hi, it is +40mm that space is for the chip catcher. btw welcome to the fog

The chip catcher is said to not properly fit the 1400, only the 1010
