Question.... Antistatic Angle Adapter Hose Sleeve

On the Festool Products Webpage, it has an Overview of the Antistatic Angle Adapter Hose Sleeve... Part 456806... as pictured below.

In the Festool Overview of the Adapter it states.... Elbow hose end for connection in CT MIDI or CT MINI.

Does anyone know why Festool has designated this product to only be compatible on the CT MIDI or CT MINI?  Why do they not recommend it to be used for the CT 22?  Would there be a substantial loss of suction since the adapter is 90 degrees?

Theoretically there's a loss of suction with every bit of obtrusion you introduce to the airflow. The CTL Mini does have noticeably less suction than the 22, but I think that's mainly due to the smaller motor and the effect of the 90 degree elbow is negligible.

The 90 degree elbow is only for the CTL Mini because of the design of the inlet. You can use the elbow on the 22 but it has no advantage and perhaps a disadvantage.
