Question Regarding Sanding Pads

OK, so I'm about to purchase an ETS EC 150/3, which will be my first Festool sander.  I know this model comes with a soft sanding pad and I'd like to purchase a hard pad to go with it.  But when I look at the sanding accessories, I notice we have "Stickfix" pads, "Multi-Jetstream" pads and "Fusion-tec" pads...

Now, I was under the impression that "Stickfix" was simply Festool speak for hook and loop (Velcro) and I thought that all the base pads have a hook and loop bottom for adhering to the abrasive.  Additionally, I was under the impression that "Fusion-tec" was an updated replacement for the "multi-jetstream" base pads, although I'm not clear on what that update entails.

Am I on the right track here?

Any clarification would be greatly appreciated.

You are correct. StickFix is hook & loop.

The current pads for that sander are Fusion-Tec.

All of the latest Ø150 mm sanding pads have StickFix (Velcro) and Multi-Jetstream (17 holes).
Only the pads for the WTS/ETS 150 and new EC ETS 150 are FusionTec and are connected with a M8 bolt.
These are NOT compatible with the FastFix Rotex pads.
Two pictures below are FusionTec and FastFix next to each other.

The Fusion Tech pads are still Multi-Jetstream, but are thinner with a updated backing pad for more strength and stability for lower vibration.

Thank you, gentlemen.

So, it looks like I'll need Fusion-Tec pads for the new ETS EC 150.

Thanks, again,

Steve
