Those abrasive impregnated poly disks are great, but not exactly new.
Been using the 3M version since the 20th Century.

Maybe "newer" and not "new" but the space is constantly evolving.

I remember being on the fence about buying a RAS180. I was contemplating it with P24 for rapid removal of material but never did pull the trigger on it ... honestly the last 20 years have gone by very quickly.
