We have a small kitchen, so counter space is a premium.  After a few months of making promises I finally got around to this little project.

Luckily, I just finished a job where I had to fit some butcher block tops in a kitchen and I was able to salvage the feet from the homeowner supplied tops.  The "feet" serve two purposes, the hold the top in position when in the sink, and protect the counters when it is being used out of the sink.

I made this beech cutting board over eight years ago, and have used the rotex to make it new many times over.

That is really nice.  I'd like to make something similar for my sink.
