I found an online source for cable sleeving in the US with a wide selection and great service.
I've used them for many items and they always ship fast and have an easy to navigate website.
I found their prices reasonable. For instance I looked at 9284K7 - Expandable Polyester Sleeving,
1-1/2" ID(2-1/8" expanded) available in seven colors is about $1/foot.

I have no connection with McMaster-Carr other than being a happy customer for over 10 years.
If the link does not work then just go to their site and search on "cable jacketing" , they have
many, many choices in slip-on or wrap-around styles made from various materials including

I got mine from Toolnut, though its the expandable braided version rather than the heat shrink:

I found it's good to get one extra foot above the recommended length (15' rather than 14') to accommodate the 27mm hose and cord.

I was going to try the heat shrink to secure the ends but couldn't find a large enough diameter locally.  I tried some of the Rockler extreme tape that I had left over. http://www.rockler.com/x-treme-tape-for-dust-joints.
It's only been a couple of weeks but is holding up well and isn't sticky.

I buy mine from HAVE INC....Techflex PTN1.50 Flexo Pet 1-1/2" (1" - 2 1/8") 40 ft ....$43.56...Neon Green.    I fasten my ends with self sealing silicone tape...Versachem Wrapit Repair 1" x 10'  or  X-Treme Tape TPE-X36ZLB Silicone Rubber Self Fusing Tape, 1" x 36'

Hey I also hate when my hose snags on the bench or track.  I hated it so much that I developed a No Hose Snag Dust Port Replacement for Festool Track Saws. The guys I worked with liked it so much that I started printing and selling them on Etsy.  It installs in under 2 minutes.  It also allows for the Festool 27mm Cleantec dust hose to twist-lock into place.
