Good Afternoon

Most of our stock of the 'New' products has just arrived. RG 130, Mixers, HD dust extractor, concrete grinding and cutting items. I sense one of our epic 'what's in the box' videos coming on.

Best regards

Warren

Really surprised to see Festool make a mixer!

I thought the whole Festool ethos was if they can't improve on it or make it cleverer they aren't interested and apparently that's why they don't make a recip saw. I can't imagine more of a blunt instrument than a mixer, so this has me a little perplexed.

Festool always had a mixer in the range, although I think we could count the number we have sold on one hand. These mixers were in the Protool range and do have some nice features. Although I haven't had a good look, the Ergofix (think big Centrotec) make stirring rod change very quick, and the simple height adjustment seems like a great idea.

Interesting to know. Thanks.

There have been Festool mixers for a long time, like 20 years or longer, before they even started Protool. Painters and the automotive sector are good customers of Festool so I think that's why they have them.

The tape measure is a rebrand, the vacumes started as Nilfisk, and the QF2000 was a Mafell. Maybe the centrotec is wira ?

It could be repackaged?
I have eibenstock (German) and it is good.

Obviously the concrete grinder is for concrete, and concrete mixers are also used for concrete.

Here is a video of the Protool version. The RG 130 is a brilliant machine, I have used it in training and it can cope with all kinds of materials, my favourite was using the Thermo disc for sticky tile adhesive, very clever.

@Warren....did you go to Germany for Protool training, back in the day?
