I would like a redesigned rail deflector. One that has taller flanges, and make the flanges flair out more to the sides so that the hose /cord feeds better when not coming straight in. It would also help if the deflector covered the full width of the FS/2 rails. And eliminate any openings or gaps between the flanges and the flat portion.

I have a standard deflector that I modified years ago, so that it can be mounted in the other channel. This allows it to work better  when the hose is coming from the left.

I'm with you on this one Seth.  I'd also like to see the it wrap around the bottom of the rail some to reduce snagging the hose.

A guide rail connector fills the void in the slot and you can leave it slightly protruding out of the end - this helps keep the cord and hose in the deflector.  I agree that one the covers the entire rail would be nice and also a little narrower in width to give more room for the TS.

The rail deflector didn't change when they redesigned the rail to have two t-slots. My older rails only have one slot for an extension bar, not two, so this is a hold over from the previous version of rail.

It would be nice if it was more 'funnel' like.
