RAS 115.04 problem

Just got it back from service center today- Paper says electronic module replaced- Tool is no different than when I sent it in. [crying]  It refuses to slow down (RPM) below the #3 setting.  Could they have meant to change the module and not actually changed it?  Oh well, back to Lebonon it shall go for round 2.
 
Very sorry for the apparent continuing issues despite sending it to us for repair. I have emailed you and our service department to coordinate getting it sent back in in an expedited manner. Please note that we are closed for New Years and will be back in the office on Tuesday. So you can expect to hear from us then. Sorry for the inconvenience.
 
Thank you Shane for your characteristic (great) response.  This is my first Festool that has  required warranty service  and I have no doubt that it will be corrected.  I put off sending it in for some time because I don't like being on a job without it. I even thought about buying another one because it is such a problem solver!!  To festools credit, the tool made its round trip in a very timely manner.

Happy new year update [smile].  Happy ending to RAS problem as a box arrived today.  Upon opening the box I was anxious to find out what the problem was with the unit.  The paperwork said "exchanged" and the new unit works perfectly! BIG THANKS to Festool.
