I'm deeply depressed today. I am on my last few months of shims and I will be out. They have been around as long as I have been in the trade. You cannot even imagine how well they worked for everything. Fixing a poor morticed hinge that was to deep, to just making something flat on a wall or floor. The best part is they are in increments of 1/32" so you could just rip off a stack whatever you needed. I'm going to have to search the web in hopes of another 5 year supply.

If they are no longer available, I would reach out to Fast Cap, they may be able to design something similar.  I know they have taken other ideas and gone into production.  Just a thought.

. Good Idea.  Maybe they can pick up and start production again where the original company fell short in some area like marketing or finance.
